Welcoming New Pet Patients to CCVH: Positive, Personal, Unique Service
New patients, and their people, are always welcome at Center City Veterinary Hospital. Our personalized pet wellness program supports vigorous health and long life, while our services provide the latest veterinary treatments and technology. We are dedicated to helping you build a positive relationship with your dogs and cats, building bonds that last a lifetime.
Who We Serve
We focus exclusively on serving canine and feline companions. Our hospital is surrounded by the beauty and inspiration of Philadelphia’s Old City District, “America’s most historic square mile.” Our patients come from the areas surrounding Center City Philadelphia, including the Old City and Society Hill neighborhoods, and South Jersey.

Appointments & Drop Off
Please schedule an appointment for veterinary care. We make every effort to run on schedule, with minimal delays.
For your convenience, we do offer drop-off appointments for established clients. After speaking with a technician or veterinarian, you will drop off your pet at a time convenient for you. Once your pet is examined, the doctor will contact you with recommendations for diagnostics and treatment. Discharge instructions are provided when you pick up your pet, as a written record of services performed.
If you would like to schedule an appointment, please contact us.
If you arrive more than 15 minutes late for your appointment, you may be asked to reschedule. In some cases, you may be seen in between other appointments; there may be a significant wait time, however, which we will try to estimate for you.
To avoid a $36 no-show fee, please cancel or reschedule your appointment more than 24 hours in advance.
Waiting Room Policy
All patients must be on a leash or in a carrier when they are brought into the hospital, to protect your pet and our other patients.
We offer convenient online forms for our new and returning clients. Simply complete and submit, no paper forms necessary.
Simply fill out the intake form and submit, in advance of your appointment.
For the convenience of our clients, we offer PetSites.
PetSites gives you convenient access to your pet’s information online, especially handy after business hours or during busy times. If you need a prescription refill from our pharmacy, we ask that you email us your prescription request, then log into your PetSites.
In addition to ordering prescriptions online, you may view your pet’s medical records, including:
- Complete and current vaccination record
- Exam status information
- Accurate prescription history
As an added bonus, your Pet Portal gives you access to a library of pet health articles from reliable veterinary experts. And Pet Portals are free. All we need is your email address.
