Meet The Staff at Center City Veterinary Hospital

Staff

Dana
Practice Manager

Dana

Dana has been a part of the Philadelphia animal community since 2006. She started her career in her hometown, in New Jersey, at a holistic practice in 2000 and through hard work, study, and dedication, worked her way up to manage a veterinary clinic in North Philly.

Here at CCVH since 2012, Dana is our Practice Manager, supporting the staff, clients, and the mission of CCVH. When time in her schedule allows, you can still find her being a technician with our appointments or in surgery. Since CCVH is paperless, she is also our resident master of all things technical expert. Applying her love of medicine to the care and comfort of our animal companions is what drives her. She’s thrilled to be at CCVH where that is fostered every day.

A nerd at heart, Dana enjoys reading, podcasts, photography, documentaries, hiking, and spending time at home with her husband, her sweet ham of a dog, Frankie, and her two cats, Violette and Shosh.

Danielle
Client Services Supervisor

Danielle

Danielle’s childhood dream job was to be the next Jane Goodall and study Chimpanzees.  Her career, however, went down a different path and she spent the last ten years working as a dietitian in the human healthcare world.  Danielle decided it was time for a change when she joined CCVH.  Working in a vet office allows Danielle to combine her love of animals and customer service!

Danielle lives in Philadelphia with her husband and their two cats, Penguin and PlumBer.  She loves to walk around the city and say hello to every dog she passes!  In her free time, she also enjoys hiking, camping, board game nights,  cooking and snuggling up with her cats.

Molly
Technician

Molly

Molly is a self-described "cat lady", and has always loved all things small and furry. She became interested in veterinary medicine while dealing with the sudden loss of a beloved pet, & ultimately realized it was her true calling. She graduated from the Vet Tech Institute in Pittsburgh (her hometown) in 2014, & successfully passed her boards & became a Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) the following year. It wasn't until she started her first job in general practice that she began to appreciate the true importance of wellness care and preventative medicine. It's her belief that the best start in life for puppies and kittens is an excellent first visit at their vet's office! She has an especial interest in cytology, utilizing Low-Stress Handling techniques on fearful or fractious patients, & neonatal care. When not at work, she enjoys trying to recreate recipes from the Great British Bake Off, working in her garden, & raising butterflies! She resides in East Kensington with her fiance, and their two cats/fur-kids, Rufus & BonChon.

“Bailey absolutely loves going! Every time we take a walk past their building, Bailey waits at the door to go in. He doesn't even notice when they give him a shot because he's so preoccupied with the treats the technician is giving him.”

“After struggling to get appointments at my old vet I was thrilled to find that Center City Vet is not only flexible, but friendly, affordable and knowledgable. I have felt nothing but appreciated and welcomed at this practice. My cats even seemed to have the best appointments of their lives (in terms of calmness) due to the gentle but thorough. I think the greenies treats helped too! Highly recommend this practice!”

“My dog Molly has been a patient since we adopted her at 6 months old. She loves Dr. Cohen as much as we do. He is a brilliant veterinarian with a love for animals you expect from a Vet but rarely find.” — Joshua

“Dr. Cohen and the rest of the staff at Center City vet are fantastic. They are very quick when an appointment is needed and thorough. My cat Dexter and I have become spoiled because they take such good care of him! Thanks for everything you guys do!” — Emilee

“I have been bringing my dog to Center City Vet Hospital since they first opened. All of the staff is extremely professional and caring. I am glad to see that their business continues to grow without any effect on the quality of their service. I highly recommend taking your pet here.”

“The staff at CCVH are incredible. They go out of their way to ensure our pup is getting the best care possible. Our rescue dog has extreme separation anxiety, and he has always been available to help answer our questions, no matter what the concern. The facility is beyond bright and clean, and is by far the best vet hospital in the city.”

“The staff is so nice and the hospital is very efficient and clean.  It’s never too crowded and we’re in and out for a physical/vaccine update in about 30-40 min.  I lived around the corner when I first adopted my dog, so I went to CCVH out of convenience, but after moving across town and loving the service, I continued going.”

“The nurses are kind and caring. My dogs even like to go visit regularly. What dog do you know likes to go to the vet just to visit and say hi ??!   They have always fit my animals in, even when they are booked. Their prices are extremely reasonable, unlike other neighborhood veterinarians. ”
