Meet The Staff at Center City Veterinary Hospital
Manager / Technician
Dana has been a part of the Philadelphia animal community since 2006. She started her career in her hometown, in New Jersey, at a holistic practice in 2000 and through hard work, study, and dedication, worked her way up to manage a veterinary clinic in North Philly.
Here at CCVH since 2012, Dana is our Practice Manager, supporting the staff, clients, and the mission of CCVH. When time in her schedule allows, you can still find her being a technician with our appointments or in surgery. Since CCVH is paperless, she is also our resident computer programmer, graphic and master of all things technical expert. Applying her love of medicine to the care and comfort of our animal companions is what drives her. She’s thrilled to be at CCVH where that is fostered every day.
A nerd at heart, Dana enjoys reading, podcasts, photography, documentaries, hiking, home projects, and spending time at home with her husband, her sweet ham of a dog, Frankie and her two cats, Violette and Shosh.
Danielle’s childhood dream job was to be the next Jane Goodall and study Chimpanzees. Her career, however, went down a different path and she spent the last ten years working as a dietitian in the human healthcare world. Danielle decided it was time for a change when she joined CCVH. Working in a vet office allows Danielle to combine her love of animals and customer service!
Danielle lives in Philadelphia with her husband and their two cats, Penguin and PlumBer. She loves to walk around the city and say hello to every dog she passes! In her free time, she also enjoys hiking, camping, board game nights, cooking and snuggling up with her cats.
Growing up in Brooklyn, New York, Yasmine always housed a strong fascination with animal behavioral studies and veterinary medicine. Her childhood revolved around the caring of a wide array of animals including dogs, cats, parrots, mice, and turtles. She obtained her Associates in Biology soon out of high school and has since set her sights on pursuing work in the veterinary field. She is so excited to be welcomed onto the CCVH team where she can fully indulge in her love of animals and client care, all the while being part of such an amazing veterinary practice.
Yasmine is now living in Philadelphia with her partner and their goofy black lab rescue, Midnight. In her spare time Yasmine loves drawing and painting, geeking out, traveling, camping, and spending time with her absurdly large family.
Technician / Inventory Manager
Molly has a great sense of humor and a sweet disposition. She is an animal lover that grew up in PA with dogs, cats, and horses. She began showing horses competitively at the age of 7. Molly moved to Colorado where she received her CVT (Certified Veterinary Technician) and recently moved back to the Philadelphia area. She feels extremely lucky to have found a career here at CCVH and has begun to develop her training in surgery and anesthesia. Molly lives in South Philadelphia with her newly adopted kitten, Olive and enjoys spending her free time with friends and family and skiing.
Maddie has been a member of the CCVH team since June 2016 but is a lifelong resident of the Philadelphia area. She grew up with a multitude of pets; her dad is a veterinarian and she loved spending time at the animal hospital or with her family's dogs, cats, birds, and turtles. Growing up around veterinary medicine has proven to be in Maddie's blood as she is climbing the ladder here at CCVH, quite quickly. We thrilled to have her as part of our team! Maddie loves her cat Guppy, reading, and hiking with her dog Jenny.
Alyssa is originally from central Pennsylvania, where she grew up on a 45-acre farm filled with an abundance of animals. She moved to Philadelphia in 2012 to attend Manor College’s veterinary technology program. She graduated in 2014 and became a certified veterinary technician. She started her career at a general animal practice then moved on to work at a specialty and emergency center focusing on emergency.
Alyssa is looking forward to a fulfilling career at CCVH! She is very interested in furthering her knowledge of surgery and anesthesia and her interests outside of work include brunch, vinyl records, anything outdoors, sushi and the beach.
Neil brings over 14 years experience working with animals in a variety of disciplines, including emergency medicine, surgical assistance, general practice, and working on GIS projects with the Endangered Species Program of New Jersey. He attended the University of Tennessee Canine Rehabilitation Program and has worked as a canine rehabilitation practitioner, helping companion animals with physical therapy and conditioning. Neil lives in Cherry Hill, NJ with his wife and three kids. In his spare time, he enjoys watching his dog Millie watch television. Homeward Bound is a favorite!
Born and raised in the Philadelphia area, Dan is a recent manor graduate and certified veterinary technician. After having worked in small animal emergency hospitals and wildlife rehabilitation centers in between classes, Dan has found an amazing hospital to work at! He enjoys spending time with his newly rescued terrier, Squirrel, who has already become closely attached despite his timid and nervous personality.
Naudia is from Indiana and moved to Philly in December of 2016. She was introduced to the veterinary field in August of 2015. She realized working at a vet hospital combines both of her passions, customer service and animals. Since then, she has chosen to finish her degree in Business and added Chemistry so she can pursue vet school later. Naudia is excited to learn about vet medicine as an assistant. Outside of school and work, she enjoys trying new restaurants, Philly sports, and taking care of her furbabies. Furbabies (her own and our clients) are her motivation for everything she does. She has two dogs (Denver and Kojo pictured left), four cats (Yankee, Ash, Miley, and Bella) and a macaw (Indigo). Naudia hopes to continue improving her skills and knowledge through CCVH that she can carry with her for the rest of her career and life!
Shawna is a recent Manor graduate and certified veterinary technician with a special interest in behavior. She has been teaching behavior classes for 2 years and wants to move into shelter behavior. She has 3 rescues animals at home that she loves spending time with on her days off. When not at work Shawna also loves to watch her Philly sports teams and spend time with her family.
Taylor was raised in the Philadelphia area and graduated from Manor College with a degree in veterinary technology. She has been a part of the veterinary community since 2012 as a CVT in general practice, emergency and specialty care. She has a dog named Pearl that she rescued during her time in emergency care and two cats named Little and Peanut. In her free time she enjoys playing with her daughter, skiing, hiking, home renovating, and trying to make up for the cuddle time that her pets have lost since her daughter arrived!
