Meet The Staff at Center City Veterinary Hospital
Rebecca Cohen feels incredibly lucky to work at, and co-own, Center City Veterinary Hospital. What was once her husband’s dream has slowly become her third child as she slowly took on more responsibility at the practice. Currently, as “mother” of the practice, she fawns over the pets that enter the hospital and works hard, though part-time, to take care of the organization and finance in the CCVH community.
Before managing the hospital, Rebecca taught high school English in Michigan, taught as an Assistant Instructor at Indiana University while earning her dual PhD in Education and American Studies, and worked as an Assistant Professor at a small liberal arts college.
When the practice opened in late 2010, Rebecca had left academia and was mom to her and Dr. Cohen’s spirited and adorable one year old, Adina. She was also three months pregnant with what would be her sweet and funny son, Benjamin. “The Rog” and Jakes round out the rest of the Cohen household quite literally as they are both rather ... overweight. Three and a half years later, her family and the Philadelphia community gives Rebecca the spirit, hope, and perspective that keeps her a grounded (though usually frenzied) mom, wife, and hospital manager.
Dana has been a part of the Philadelphia animal community since 2006. She started her career in her hometown, in New Jersey, at a holistic practice in 2000 and through hard work, study, and dedication, worked her way up to manage a veterinary clinic in North Philly.
Here at CCVH since 2012, Dana is our Practice Manager, supporting the staff, clients, and the mission of CCVH. When time in her schedule allows, you can still find her being a technician with our appointments or in surgery. Since CCVH is paperless, she is also our resident computer programmer, graphic designer, and master of all things technical expert. Applying her love of medicine to the care and comfort of our animal companions is what drives her. She’s thrilled to be at CCVH where that is fostered every day.
A nerd at heart, Dana enjoys reading, research, photography, documentaries, hiking, home projects, and spending time at home with her husband, her sweet ham of a dog, Frankie and her two cats, Violette and Shosh.

Danielle’s childhood dream job was to be the next Jane Goodall and study Chimpanzees. Her career, however, went down a different path and she spent the last ten years working as a dietitian in the human healthcare world. Danielle decided it was time for a change when she joined CCVH. Working in a vet office allows Danielle to combine her love of animals and customer service!
Danielle lives in Philadelphia with her husband and their two cats, Penguin and PlumBer. She loves to walk around the city and say hello to every dog she passes! In her free time, she also enjoys hiking, camping, board game nights, cooking and snuggling up with her cats.

Maddie has been a member of the CCVH team since June 2016 but is a lifelong resident of the Philadelphia area. She grew up with a multitude of pets; her dad is a veterinarian and she loved spending time at the animal hospital or with her family's dogs, cats, birds, and turtles. Growing up around veterinary medicine has proven to be in Maddie's blood as she is climbing the ladder here at CCVH, quite quickly. We thrilled to have her as part of our team! Maddie loves her cat Guppy, reading, and hiking with her dog Jenny.

Naudia is from Indiana and moved to Philly in December of 2016. She was introduced to the veterinary field in August of 2015. She realized working at a vet hospital combines both of her passions, customer service and animals. Since then, she has chosen to finish her degree in Business and added Chemistry so she can pursue vet school later. Naudia is excited to learn about vet medicine as an assistant. Outside of school and work, she enjoys trying new restaurants, Philly sports, and taking care of her furbabies. Furbabies (her own and our clients) are her motivation for everything she does. She has two dogs (Denver and Kojo pictured left), four cats (Yankee, Ash, Miley, and Bella) and a macaw (Indigo). Naudia hopes to continue improving her skills and knowledge through CCVH that she can carry with her for the rest of her career and life!
